Now is the time to start Planning your garden.
YOU CAN USE SEEDS FROM LAST YEAR...if you kept them in a cool dry place.
(easiest way to tell if they are still good. Put a few seeds in a zip lock back with a wet paper towel. Watch for a few days. If they sprout your seeds are still good!)
Did you know?
When you start seeds indoors
- you need a sterile medium to grow in (if you're using one from last year make sure you sterilize it with a bleach solution of 10% bleach and 90% water.)
- Use WARM water to water your seedlings (cold water can retard growth!)
- Make sure to HARDEN OFF plants Before planting them into your garden
