Ready Set Crochet!

Are you ready? I am so excited for Saturday.
10-2 at the Springerville Bldg
Remember all you need is 3 oz of baby weight or Sport weight yarn and a size I hook for the gown or a size G hook for the Sleeper. (and you need to know how to single and double crochet)  We'll be walking you thru the pattern so you can ask questions.
It takes between 1 hour and 1and 1/2 hour to be halfway thru the gown or sleeper, (by that time you simply repeat the shell *for gowns, or double crochet *for the sleeper.) So if you need to come and go you can! I can usually whip out a whole sleeper in under 2 hours. And they are so so precious!!!
I hear 4th ward is going to town on making items. I am so excited to see them! Share the word with Sisters in our stake. Does your ward have a goal of items to make? Let's see how many we can put together.
Just a reminder...Blankets are super easy to put together. I just took two pieces of material 22 x 22 and sewed them right sides together (with a small opening of course) and then flipped it right side out and topstitched around the blanket. I splurged and used minky on one side (because I LOVE MINKY!!!! so soft) and cotton on the other. Cotton, flannel, minky, they all work great!!!
If you have anything already put together that you would like to drop off, bring it to the Springerville bldg this Saturday.
If you have any questions Please Call or Leave a comment.
All Patterns are found below or links are on the sidebar.

I am so excited for our Christmas in September. The Stake Relief Society does such a great job putting this event together. A big thank you to all the ward Relief Society sisters who have worked so hard to put AMAZING crafts together for this year.

We are getting started with the Stake Humanitarian Aid Project as well. Just as a Reminder....We are making blankets, hats, and gowns to donate to local Arizona Hospitals for INFANT LOSS. These items can be sewn, crocheted, knitted, purchased, etc. Pattern IDEAS and sizing for items are found in the previous posts and can also be accessed by the label bar at the right.  Please feel free to use patterns you are already familiar with. These are simply suggestions. If you have questions please ask!!!!

Thank you all for sharing your time and talents!

Finished Items can be turned into your ward R.S. presidency.

coming in August, crochet gown and hat workshop.
